yellowworkshops sells the Reel Editor, software that edits short-form videos on the buyer's own computer together with the buyer's own Claude account. Contact: support@yellowworkshops.com.
A one-time, non-transferable licence to use the Reel Editor on one computer at a time, with software updates for 12 months from purchase. The version you have keeps working after that period. The licence key is delivered by email immediately after payment.
Your own paid Claude subscription (Pro or Max) with the Claude desktop app or Claude Code (the free Claude plan can't run the Reel Editor), and a computer meeting the requirements on our website (Windows 10/11 64-bit or macOS 12 or newer, about 6 GB free). Claude is a product of Anthropic; yellowworkshops is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.
You add the yellowworkshops plugin to Claude and give it your licence key. Claude then downloads the Reel Editor and the programs it needs into a yellowworkshops folder in your user account, from yellowworkshops.com, checking each file against our signed list. During your 12 months of updates, new versions and new styles (motion graphics, sounds, looks) are fetched automatically when you start an edit. You can switch automatic downloads off.
The Reel Editor uses open-source programs that keep their own licences, including FFmpeg (GPL; installed as a separate program, source at ffmpeg.org), Python (PSF licence), yt-dlp (Unlicense), the sherpa-onnx speech engine and its models, HyperFrames and GSAP, and open-licence fonts and sounds. Their notices are included with the software.
You may use the Reel Editor to edit videos for yourself or your clients. You may not copy, resell, share, reverse-engineer or redistribute the software or your licence key.
Your videos and edits belong to you. They are processed only on your computer. You are responsible for having the rights to the footage, music and other material you use. If you give Claude a link to someone else's video as a style reference, the video is downloaded to your computer only to study its style, is deleted afterwards and is never put in your reel; make sure you're allowed to download it.
The software is provided as is. We do our best to fix problems quickly, but we can't guarantee it will work on every computer or with every video file. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
